At theChapel, middle and high school students come together to experience Christ at another level. The leaders of the next generation are being developed among us.
The student strategy is based on small groups that meet throughout the week in the community to share how their lives relate to the Bible. They’re challenging one another to live in a way that glorifies God, and they’re being taught about how to position themselves for God’s best in their future. For a complete list of groups and locations click “FIND YOUR GROUP!” below.
On the first Friday of every month, our middle and high school students crash theChapel campus for a huge party we call theelement. We’ve got Tribe Wars, live worship, compelling teaching and of course…free food! You’ll want to mark this event on your families calendar each month.
Theelement meets on the first Friday of every month in Bldg. B from 7:00-9:00pm.
During the weekend services, we also provide a worship atmosphere specifically for middle school students. What every kid wants is their own thing, and Murge fits the bill. The students get their own band, their own message, their own fun. Just the kind of space they need to figure out who they are in Christ.
Murge happens during the 6pm service on Saturdays, as well as the 8:45 & 11:45am services on Sundays. There is no Murge during the 10:15am service.
High School students will travel together to Birmingham, AL July 26-29th for a 4-day conference designed to help students discover a passion for Jesus and to empower them to live out their God given purpose. Motion Conference is more than unforgettable games, phenomenal worship, and world-class speakers. It’s believing our faith is not meant to be idle or contained but lived out in MOTION in Christ.
