You said yes to Jesus—what a moment!

We’re so glad you spent part of your Easter with us at theChapel. Whether it’s your first time saying yes or you’re reconnecting with your faith, we’re celebrating with you. Here’s what to do next:

Worship

  • Make it a priority to attend church regularly—it’s how we grow and stay connected and we hope you’ll make theChapel your church.

  • Keep showing up, even when life gets busy or hard.

The Word

  • Begin to read the Bible—start with the book of John to see who Jesus really is.

  • After that, check out Matthew, Mark, and Luke to see more of Jesus’ life and teaching.

  • Download the Bible App and follow this 10-day devotional plan to help you get started.

Prayer

  • Begin each day by simply talking to God—no fancy words needed.

  • Thank Him for what you have, then share where you need His help. 

  • Use Jesus' example in Matthew 6:9-13 as a guide if you're not sure where to start. 

šŸ˜Š Live knowing that Jesus loves you. 

Start to see yourself the way God sees you. This can be difficult because we usually define ourselves by what we have done wrong.  But, God loves us because of who He is, not because of who we are. He made you, and He wants you to live free from guilt and doubts about your worth.  

āœØ Invite Jesus into your everyday life. 

Don’t live as though Jesus is just a part of your life.  Instead, begin to invite Him to be with you in every interaction, every relationship, even every thought you have throughout the day. 

šŸ§± Build on a solid foundation.

The foundation of anything… a bridge, a building, or your faith… determines the height it can reach. As a believer and follower of Jesus, our foundation is the Bible.  Start to read God’s Word. Download the Bible app for your smart device and begin reading in the book of John.  It will reveal more of who Jesus really is. Then, read the rest of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke. You can also follow along with a 7-day Bible Reading Plan HERE.

šŸ™ Pray. 

Jesus taught His disciples to pray (Matthew 6:5-14). Start each day with this prayer. It's simply conversing with God. Begin with gratitude for life, family, friends, and opportunities. Share your needs, entrusting them to Him. Whatever your situation, learn how to put it in His hands through prayer. 

ā›Ŗļø Attend church.

Our Weekend Services are designed to help you Know God. Create a healthy rhythm in your family for church attendance, so that you can grow in your relationship with Him.
