'Announce a time of fasting; call the people together for a solemn meeting. Bring the leaders and all the people of the land into the Temple of the Lord your God, and cry out to him there.'
Seven Days begins Aug. 14th
A Time for Prayer and Fasting
The middle of August is an important time in the lives of many families. Back-to-school and shifting out of “summer mode” is a moment for many to recommit to some of the things that help them grow. We’re taking the third week of August to commit ourselves to prayer and fasting, believing that when we remove our agenda and replace it with God’s that His voice will be clearer. You’ll be able to access a video devotional from PQ below every day to help guide your Seven Days journey.
Additionally, the Worship Center will be open Monday - Friday from 6am - 9am. You can come and go at your convenience. Our prayer team and Pastors will be available to pray with you during those times.
Saturday morning, Aug. 20th at 8am, we’ll do a full prayer service with worship and corporate prayer. We’re making space available for you to pray for your family and all the new families we’ll welcome to theChapel this Fall!
Types of Fasts
Typically, we’ll begin our fast immediately following the service you attend on the weekend of Aug. 13/14. The fast would end immediately following the same service the next weekend, Aug. 20/21. If you are unable to start the fast with us on Aug. 14th, no problem, simply start when you are able to. Let's take the time and energy that we spend with something we value and spend it on seeking God instead. Whether it’s food, media or hobbies, the goal is the same, remove it and replace it with more of God. Not sure where to start? View the different kinds of fast using the button below.
