And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone…” Mark 16:15 NLT
International missions trips are just one of the ways that we get to move God’s Kingdom forward all over the world. Each year several teams from theChapel prepare together, and travel out of the country. The work varies from construction to education to programs for children. The difference it makes to the people we serve is incredible, but perhaps the most lasting change happens for those who go on the trip. There’s something about being out of your day-to-day environment, serving people who despite challenges and difficult living conditions have a joyful heart and an eager desire to know Jesus
Check back to find out where we’re heading in 2019! Until then, check out the organizations we partnered with this past year & where all of our short-term mission trip teams traveled to below.
We partnered with One Ball One Village in Guatemala to provide clean water access to thousands by installing 5 water purification systems.
We partnered with Bagay Ki Bon at the House of Blessings orphanage in Callebasse, Haiti to break the cycle of poverty and equip the men and women with tools for success. Their goal is to help rebuild the community through construction projects, help create handmade goods in the Sewing Center and share the love of God to the children at the orphanage. “Bagay Ki Bon” means “Good Things”.
We partnered with the House of Hope Orphanage in San Isidro de Coronado, Costa Rica to work on interior finishes, installing security cameras and septic tanks. This orphanage rescues children off the streets and provides them with life skills such as farming, cooking and carpentry.
We partnered with One City Ministries in Mbala, Uganda to strategically battle poverty though better nutrition, economic stability, spiritual development and agricultural advancements.
