Kingdom Minded — Eternity Focused

The Legacy Team is an outlet for those who are called and equipped to finance the Kingdom of God and to leave a legacy. The Legacy Team serves our church with the gift of giving.

What is the Legacy Team?

The Legacy Team advances the cause of Christ and accelerates the vision of theChapel through the gift of giving. While Legacy Lane projects are budgeted for, the Legacy Team helps to bring the projects to completion faster by funding the vision gap between the total project cost and the budgeted amount by giving above and beyond their normal giving. We always say, "God sets the vision, but the Legacy Team sets the pace."

Keep scrolling to see how you can be part of the Legacy Team.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

The Five Legacy Lanes of Impact

1. theChapel Projects Lane - Capital improvement projects, including future multi-site locations and ministry expansion around our Trinity location.

Room 101 Enhancement: Total Project Cost  $165k,  Budgeted Amount  $85k =  Vision Gap $80k

We currently use this space for weekend experience overflow but require additional space for discipleship classes. This room must be outfitted as a multipurpose facility with the appropriate audio-video package. Completing this space will continue accommodating the community's needs from outside organizations seeking a professional, uplifting, and positive atmosphere for holding meetings, such as the Faith and Values Commission and the Chamber of Commerce.

Retail Space Buildout: Total Project Cost  approx. $275k,  Budgeted Amount  $100k =  Vision Gap $175k

We are considering expanding the wood flooring area in the Shopping Center to accommodate our future student ministry needs. This expansion would allow us to move our Middle School weekend activities to this space, providing more room for discipleship classes. We are currently in the process of gathering designs.

2. Leadership Development Lane  - We'll raise up the next generation of leaders in ministry and the marketplace through our summer Leadership Internship.  Build a leadership academy to allow us to bring an accredited program to our young leaders.  This lane also helps to coach pastors in our community and across the country to serve the people and communities where God has planted them.

2024 Leadership Internship:  Total Project Cost $41k,  Budgeted Amount $27k = Vision Gap $14k

If we cannot secure the total funding, the 2024 Internship Program will still proceed; however, the leadership training offered may be limited. Keep in mind that the proceeds from the sale of the "How You Start Your Day Sets Your Day" devotional will be applied to this balance, helping to provide scholarships and enhanced leadership experiences.

3. Community Care & Counseling Lane - Provides free counseling and resources to those in need through Care Night. Supports the ongoing efforts of The Hope Center to help people move their story forward through classes, counseling, and coaching.

Your ongoing legacy support allows us to provide classes and scholarships for individuals and families in need and offer individual and family counseling to those who may be unable to cover the entire cost. Giving to this cause will continue our value, ensuring no one is turned away because of finances.

4. Outreach Lane - Support efforts to reach the community for the Kingdom.  This includes our Serve Days, the Hernando Correctional Facility, support and care for our local veterans and first responders, and our holiday outreaches which serve families in need in our community.

Your continued legacy support in these areas not only expands the projects offered on every Serve Day but also provides crucial funding to meet the needs of the community we serve. Our goal is to ensure that 100% of Serve Day projects and associated expenses are fully funded. The first Serve Day of 2024 was our largest, with 100% of all projects fully paid for.

5. Missions Lane - National and global efforts to plant churches with the ARC (Association of Related Churches) and provide disaster relief.  It also helps to build and resource theChapel School in Haiti to help impoverished children receive an academic and skill-based education so that they can thrive in their homeland.

Haiti Academy Expansion Project:  Total Project Cost $36k, Budgeted Amount $15k = Vision Gap $21k

As we work to add a second floor at theChapel Academy in Haiti, we're ensuring that they will have adequate space to meet the increased educational needs of the students.
