SERVE

Let's SERVE together on Saturday, July 15th!

Ultimately, we all want to Make a Difference in the lives of other people. That's why we serve. There are opportunities to serve every week at theChapel, whether it's on the Go Team on the weekend or through a SERVE project out in the community. Every couple of months we also host a SERVE Day which is when we all come together as a church on a Saturday morning for a quick word of prayer, and then we break off into multiple projects designed to demonstrate the love of Jesus in tangible ways.

You can be a part by downloading the Serve Day app, and selecting a project. If you already have a Blue Serve Day shirt, bring it with you. If not, we’ll have one ready for you. Let’s go make sure this community looks different because there’s a life-giving church in town.

Common Questions about SERVE Day

Can anyone submit a SERVE Project Idea?

Absolutley. In fact, the more SERVE Projects that are submitted, the more opportunities we have to Make a Difference in the community.

Do we only do SERVE Projects on SERVE Day?

Nope. Needs in the community aren't limited to certain days of the year, so we're always looking for ways to Make A Difference in the community throughout the week in between SERVE Day. Weekly SERVE Projects are actually a great way for Connect Groups to serve together in the community.

How will the church communicate additional details about SERVE Day?

SERVE Project members receive emails with updates for the SERVE Day project they signed up for. Updates will also be made through the SERVE Day App.

What if it rains?

If your SERVE Day project is outside, your project leader will communicate an inclement weather option for your team. Some possibilities include visiting a nursing home, serving at a local service organization, or cleaning classrooms at a local school.
